There are a lot of moving parts in a micro-credit operation that provides many small loans to poor entrepreneurs: hundreds of accounting entries, many financial and social reports, tons of phone calls, Skype calls, Zoom calls, texts and emails to name a few. It takes a great team to pull this off. We are very fortunate to have two great teams – SERVIGUA in Guatemala and PANA PANA in Nicaragua. Here are some of the key people that we work with:
GUATEMALA

FRANCISCO XANTE
President of Board of DirectorsFrancisco Xanté is the president of the board of directors of SERVIGUA. He holds a bachelor degree in business administration. He is the executive director of TIKONEL, a Guatemalan NGO working with indigenous peoples and local communities to protect the natural resources while creating livelihood opportunities for them. He is also the president of the board of directors of the Indigenous and Peasant Coordinating Association of Agroforestry in Central America – ACICAFOC.

JOSE ARMANDO MORALES
General ManagerJose Armando Morales has been the general manager of SERVIGUA since its foundation. He holds a bachelor degree in business administration. He worked for FUDEA and FINCA, well-known Guatemalan microfinance institutions, as a credit officer and branch manager. He is now the secretary of the board of directors of REDFASCO, a Guatemalan network of microfinance institutions.

MARIA ISABEL MORALES
Financial ManagerMaria Isabel Morales is the financial manager of SERVIGUA. She is finishing her bachelor degree in accounting and audit. She began to work as cashier in SERVIGUA eleven years ago. Then, she was promoted to general accountant before being appointed as financial manager.

DANIEL LOBOS
Credit ManagerDaniel Lobos holds a bachelor degree in business administration. Previously, he designed and executed social and economic development projects to alleviate poverty among indigenous communities. He began as credit officer of SERVIGUA and was then promoted to credit manager.

LUCILA LAW
Executive DirectorLucia Law is the Executive Director of PANA PANA. She holds a Bachelors degree in business administration and a master degree in microfinance. She has extensive experience in development projects with indigenous communities in the Atlantic Coast Region. She has also managed multiple development projects focused on the sustainable development of the Atlantic Coast and the indigenous communities and other disadvantaged groups.

LUIS WILSON GUILL
Deputy Executive DirectorLuis Wilson holds a Bachelors degree in business administration, graduate studies in microfinance institutions and an associate degree in small business management from the North-Central Technical College of Wausau, Wisconsin. He has designed and executed social and economic development projects for the indigenous communities of Miskito and Mayagnas at the Atlantic Coast. He is the national coordinator of professional exchange of the Florida Association of Volunteer Action for the Caribbean and the Americas.

SAUL ARUZ
Financial & Administration ManagerSaul Arauz previously worked as a senior auditor with Deloitte, KPMG and Baker Tilly. He has broad knowledge and experience in accounting and financial norms that regulate microfinance institutions in Nicaragua.

EDDY NARVAEZ
Credit ManagerEddy Narvaez is an experienced professional in the area of microfinance institutions since 1998. He has worked for well-known microfinance institutions including FUDEMI, FUNDESER and FDL. He has carried out consultancy work with ASOMIF and REDCAMIF. He has been credit officer and a risk officer. He holds a Bachelor degree in agribusiness and specialization in local development.
