OUR OBJECTIVES

INCREASING WOMEN’S INCOMES IS WHAT WE THINK ABOUT

We will remain focused on increasing the access of poor women entrepreneurs to small business loans in Central America. With these loans, they are able to increase their business incomes and leave poverty behind. This is “classic microcredit”.

We will continue to help our MFI Partners, SERVIGUA and PANA PANA, in any way that we can to grow their businesses so that they can serve more poor women entrepreneurs with small business loans. We provide both mental capital, i.e., our combined business experience where appropriate, and monetary capital to our MFI Partners.

Over the next 5 years, hopefully less, we will secure sufficient additional funding through grants, donations and loans to make Open to Grow comfortably sustainable from a financial point of view.

We see Open to Grow as having a bright future in Central America providing microloans to poor entrepreneurs, primarily women, to help them grow themselves out of poverty.
